DB25 Connector

CAUTION

Incorrectly wired or installed cabling is the most common cause of communications problems for wide area networks. Interphase recommends that you work with a qualified cable installer for assistance with your cabling requirements.

DB25 Connector

The iSPAN-Serial WAN adapter connector uses a DB25 pinout. The DB25 pin signals vary according to the interface selected. This external link is a Low Voltage Directory (LVD) according to safety standard IEC950.

CAUTION

The adapter’s DB25 female connector is for serial WAN connections only. Take care not to connect it to a parallel device. (Parallel ports also use DB25 connectors.) Connecting it to a parallel device may result in damage to both the adapter and the parallel device.
