Chapter 4: Installing the NDIS Software Package

To remove the Base driver along with the NDIS driver, do the following:

1.When the Interphase 553X Base driver dialog box asks if you are sure you want to deinstall the software, click Continue to remove the Base driver.

The following pop-up prompts you to confirm the card(s) removal and driver deletion.

2.To confirm the deletion, click Yes.

Upon confirmation, the system does the following:

•Deletes product files and the Base driver program group from the Start menu

•Dynamically unloads the drivers from memory

•Cleans up the registry

Continue to the next section, Completing the Driver Removal, to make the driver removal take effect.
