Setting Up Network Protocol Properties

After you add the NDIS logical adapter, one or both of the following dialog boxes appear:

•Microsoft TCP/IP Properties dialog box

•NWLink IPX/SPX Properties dialog box

This sequence depends on the network protocol(s) installed on your system.

If your network configuration contains multiple WAN adapters, you are first prompted to change the default internal network number to a unique number.

•If the IPX/SPX protocol is installed, click Yes to display the IPX/SPX Properties dialog box.

•If the IPX/SPX protocol is not installed, click No to display the TCP/IP Properties dialog box.

•To configure IPX/SPX settings, continue to Setting Up IPX/SPX Protocols on page 47.

•To configure TCP/IP settings, skip to Setting Up TCP/IP Protocols on page 49.
