Overview

This chapter explains how to insert and set up Interphase SNA Server link services and connections for the iSPAN-Serial WAN adapter. The setup procedure is described for SNA Server 4.0 (with Microsoft SNA Server Service Pack 1).

This chapter explains how to do the following SNA Server link services setup tasks:

Access online help

Insert and set up an Interphase Frame Relay, SDLC, or X.25 SNA Server link service

Insert and set up a Frame Relay, SDLC, or X.25 connection

This chapter does not include a detailed description of Microsoft’s SNA Server software, interface, or configuration. As a general rule, verify default values that appear in Microsoft NT dialog boxes, referring to your SNA Server administrator for assistance. For a complete description of the SNA Server configuration procedure, see the latest Microsoft SNA Server documentation, or follow the appropriate links at the Microsoft web site: http://www.microsoft.com/products.

Microsoft SNA Server, Interphase SNA Server link services and the standard Base driver (along with the WAN adapter firmware) must already be installed before setting up SNA Server link services for the adapter.
