Setting Up WAN Properties

If the Cards list is empty, the board might not be properly installed. See Problems and Solutions on page 166 for information to correct the problem.
When configuring WAN port properties, if you are not sure which options to select, use the default values. You can change the settings later. For detailed information about setting up WAN properties, press the F1 key to view
To set up port properties, do the following:
1.In the Cards list of the WAN Adapters Setup dialog box, select the serial port and click Properties.
The SR Port Properties dialog box appears.
Figure2.In the Interface field, select the serial line interface type to be used with the adapter.
3.In the Modem signals field, select the method for handling modem signals. (In most cases, the default option, External modem, is appropriate.)
