The Palm Desktop online Help has lots of info about how to use Palm Desktop software. Open the Help menu and select Palm Desktop Help.

Using your computer

Many of the applications on your handheld are also included in Palm Desktop software. You can use these applications to enter information on your computer. When you synchronize your handheld with your computer, the information is updated in both places.

NOTE During CD installation (Windows only), you can choose to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook. If you do, info from Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, and Memos is synchronized with Outlook. Other info, such as photos and notes, is synchronized with Palm Desktop software.

WINDOWS ONLY

Double-click the Palm Desktop icon on your computer desktop, and then click the icons in the launch bar to access the various applications.
