•Checking the MAC address
Use the following procedure to check the MAC address of the internal LAN card.
Important
To check the MAC address, you have to set a LAN (local area) connection in the [Network connection] screen.
1 Click the [start] button and [Control Panel].
2 Click the [Network and Internet Connections] icon.
3 Click the [Network Connections] icon.
With the correct LAN connection, the following screen will appear.
4Check that [Local Area Connection] is enabled.
Tips
If it is disabled, move the mouse pointer to [Local Area Connection] and press the right mouse button to bring up a menu, click [Enable] to enable the connection.
