2.3Description of the System
2.3.1Modular Design
The installation is a drinking water conditioning system. Its core application is the emineralization of brackish water with a salt content up to 2000 ppm (WTC 600 LP), respectively up to 5000 ppm (WTC 600 MP).
The design of the system is modular, and can be adapted accordingly to the local conditions depending on the application conditions as well as the composition of the untreated water:
-Media filter and flocculation – module 1
-Activated carbon filter – module 2
-Reverse osmosis system – module 4
-
-Metering stations
The RO system is designed for stationary use.
2.3.1.1Pre-chlorination Module
The WTC 600 CD metering station, consisting of metering container (3/1) and pump (3/2), is
connected to the sand filter module for pre- chlorination if required.
