2 gousses d’ail

5mL (1 c. à thé) de racine de gingembre hachée grossièrement

60mL (14 de tasse) de sauce soja

30mL (2 c. à soupe) d’huile d’arachide ou végétale

10mL (2 c. à thé) de cassonade

455à 565 g (1 à 114 lb) de filets de poitrine de poulet

Sauce

80mL (13 de tasse) de lait de noix de coco

60mL (14 de tasse) de beurre d’arachide

30mL (2 c. à soupe) de sauce soja

2mL (12 c. à thé) de pâte de cari rouge

Placer la lame polyvalente dans le bol à préparation. Pendant que le robot tourne, ajouter l’ail et la racine de gingembre par la goulotte. Faire tourner le robot pour hacher, de 5 à 10 secondes. Ajouter la sauce soja, l’huile et la cassonade. Faire tourner le robot pour mélanger et pour dissoudre la cassonade, de 15 à 20 secondes. Retirer et mettre dans un sac en plastique pour aliments refermable ou une assiette peu profonde.

Ajouter le poulet; remuer pour enrober. Laisser mariner 12 heure à la température ambiante ou au moins 2 heures au réfrigérateur. Retirer le poulet de la marinade; réserver la marinade.

Enfiler les filets de poulet sur des brochettes de bois trempées ou de métal huilées. Faire griller au charbon à feu moyen-vif ou au four sur un gril- lèchefrite huilé à 10 à 15 cm (4 à 6 po) de l’élément chauffant pendant 8 à 10 minutes ou jusqu’à ce que le poulet soit bien cuit, en retournant une fois. Badigeonner du reste de marinade une fois pendant la cuisson, au goût. Servir avec la sauce aux arachides chaude ou tiède.
