TCP Re-Transmission Timeout

The TCP Re-Transmission Timeout is the interval to wait for acknowledgem ent of
transmitted TCP segments before re-transmitting them. Enter between 500 and 4000
ms. The default is 500 ms.

Enable alternate MAC

If necessary, enable the alternate MAC address (if specified in the OEM s etup
record).

Ethernet Connection Type

The xPico allows for the Ethernet speed and duplex to be manually configured. E nter
0 for auto-negotiation (default). To select the speed and duplex, enter on e of the
following: 2 (10 MB/half duplex), 3 (10 MB/full duplex), 4 (100 MB/half duplex), or 5
(100 MB/full duplex).

Security Settings (Option 6)
Note: You can change security settings by means of Telnet or serial connections
only, not on the Web-Manager. We recommend that you set security over the
dedicated network or over the serial setup to prevent eavesdropping.
CAUTION: Disabling both Telnet Setup and Port 77FE will prevent users
from accessing the setup menu from the network. Disabling Port 77FE
also disables the Web from configuring the device.
