Positioning the printer
Once you have selected a location and set up any optional drawers or a duplex unit, you are ready to position the printer.
CAUTION: The printer weighs 47.7 kg (105 lb) and requires at least two people to lift it safely.
1 Have someone help you lift the printer out of the box.
Use the handholds on the front and rear of the printer.
