8Load paper into the paper support.
9Questions appear on the display. Use the buttons on the operator panel to answer the questions:
aIf the color cartridge you installed is New (never been used), press Select.
If it is old, press the right arrow button once, and then press
Select.
bIf the part number that appears is the number of the cartridge you are using, press Select.
If it is not the number of the cartridge you are using, press the right arrow button until the correct part number appears, and then press Select.
cIf the black cartridge you installed is New, press Select.
If it is old, press the right arrow button once, and then press
Select.
The part number that appears should be the number of the cartridge you are using.
dPress Select.
Continue with “Aligning the print cartridges” to ensure proper installation.
