Headset options
TheM3901, M3902, M3904, and M3905 supportsan amplified headset when
theheadset connects to the handset jack.
TheM3903, M3904 and M3905 have a dedicated headset jack which
supportsa non-amplified headset. The M3903, M3904 and M3905 have a
HeadsetFixed Feature Key toturn the Headseton and off.
To install alternate key caps for the M3905
Usethe Key Extractor Tool with the M3905 Call Center Telephoneto remove
theprogrammable keys and replace them with alternate keys customizing
yourtelephone to fit your need.

Installthe alternate key caps
Asshown in Fig ure 18, place the tips of the tool into the slots at the right and
left of the key, grip tightly and pull straight upward.
Toinstall the key caps:
1Fitthe two small elastomer posts into two slots on the undersides of
thekeys and firmly press downward.
2Thekey releases immediately after pressure is applied.
Note: Ifthe key does not release, remove it. Attempt the installation
againmaking sure that the posts and the slots are properly aligned.
