Toview the firmware level of an M3900 set, press the Options key, scroll
tothe Display Diagnostics entry, and press Select. Use the Down
Navigation keyto get to the screen that shows the language file and
firmwareversion.

Flash Download advisements
• Since the Flash Downloading feature of the M3900 takes some
bandwidth from the system signaling path while it is operating, it is
recommended that downloading be scheduled i n off-peak hours for best
results. There is some real time impact to the system since the system
processoris busy doing the downloads. However, there is no impact to
callp rocessing,since call processing has a higher priority. Therefore,
downloadstake longer during peak traffic times because the system
processoris busy doing call processing and cannot devote as much time
tothe M3900 downloads. There is no difference between large and small
systems for this.
