To install the Expansion KBA Footstand
1Placethe Single KBA Footstand and the Expansion KBA Footstand
facedown on a flat surface.
2Alignthe Expansion KBA Footstand with the Single KBA Footstand
andslide them together.
3Inserttwo screws through the Expansion KBA Plate into the Single
KBAFootstand.
4Tightenall four screws, ensuring that the twofootstand assemblies are
properlyaligned.
5Insertthe clips on the telephone and the Key-based Expansion
Modulesinto the hinges on the combined Single Expansion KBA
FootstandAssembly, and while squeezing the Module Tilt Handles,
swingthe footstand into the desired position.
6Turnthe completed assembly upright.
To install the Display-based Expansion Module
TheDisplay-based Expansion Module gives you three layers of eight
ProgrammableLine/Feature (Self-labeled) Keys. The D isplay-based
ExpansionModule gives you a total of 24 Programmable Line/Feature Keys
(Key32 through 55).
ThePage button allows you to scroll to each key layer. Th eSelf- labeled field
is10 characters in length. You can customizethe Display-based Expansion
labels using the program mode and the dial pad keys.
Toinstall the Display-based Expansion Module:
1Whiledepressing the telephone tilt handle, pull the telephone away
fromthe footstand until it clears the final stop. Gently pull thefootstand
off the clips.
2Placethe telephone and the Display-based Expansion Module face
down on a padded level surface, and align them.
3Lowerthe Module into place, and insert the 10-pinplug on the Module
intothe 10-pin slot on the telephone. Push in gently until the retaining
tabssnap into place.
4Insertthe clips on the telephone into the hinges on the footstand,then
presson the front of the footstand until it snaps into place.
