Thissection provides installation instructions for the M3900 Series telephon e
andaccessories.
To install the M3900 Series Meridian Digital Telephones
1Completethe wiring and cross-connections (loop power).
2Connectthe telephone to the connecting block.
3Placethe telephone upright on the desk in the normal operating
position.
4Supplythe user with a quick reference guide.
Telephone positions
YourM3903, M3904 and M3905 Meridian Digital Telephones have several
differentheight selections for the desktop positions.
Tochange the telephone position:
1Pressthe tilt handle located at the top back side of the telephone.
2Withthe tilt handle pressed in, raise or lower the telephone to the
desiredangle or height.
3Release the tilt handle to lock the telephone in the desired posit ion.
Note: TheM3903 and M3904 can be wall mounted using the optional
wallmount bracket.
TheM3901 and M3902 Meridian Digital Telephones have three different
angledheight desktop positions.

Beforehandling internal telephone components, you
mustdischarge static electricity from y our hands and
toolsby touching any grounded metal surface or
conductor.
