4SelectRun.
5Entera:\setup (assuming that drive “a” is your floppy disk drive).
6Clickon OK. The Nortel Networks logo screen appears while the
installationutility loads.
7TheWelcome screen appears. Click on Next to continue installation.
8Ifyou agree to the terms of the Software License Agreement, click on
Yes.
9Continueto Click on Next until the installation is complete.
10 When asked to, remove the disk from your floppy d isk drive.
11 Click on Finish.
Note: Youm ust restart your PC to access the Personal Directory PC
Utility.
12 To select a port for the Personal Director y PC Utility; click on Phone.
Clickon Set port. The pull-down menu shows available PC ports:
•Com1
•Com2
Note: Theprogram selects the same port each time until you change
it.
To install the Key-based Expansion Module Accessory

TheKey-based Expansion Module Accessory (KBA) provides 22 additional

line/featurekeys for the M3904 and M3905Meridian Digital T elephones.

Youcan add up to two Key-based Expansion Modules providinga total of 75

line/featurek eys.

Toinstall the Key-based Expansion Module:
1Whiledepressing the telephone tilt handle, pull the telephone away
fromthe footstand until it clears the final stop. Gently pull thefootstand
off the clips.
Note: Ifan ACM is installed, unplug the ACM and remove it from the
thefootstand. Install the ACM in the Single KBA Footstand Assembly.
