Turning Bluetooth® On or Off
You can turn pow er to your phone’s B luetooth
feature on or off. While B lu eto ot h po wer is on, yo ur
phone can communicate with other devices.
You can turn off Bluetooth if you want to prolong
battery life or you ente r an area where Bluetooth is
prohibited.
The default settin g is Off.
1From the main menu, select Bluetooth > Se tup
> Power.
2Select the setting you want.
Renaming Your Phone
Bluetooth devices are listed by their Bluetoo th
addresses unless you name them. Your i605
phone comes with a default device name of
“Motorola Phone”. R enaming your i605 phone with
a unique device name makes i t easier for you to
distinguish your phon e from other Bluetooth
devices.
1From the main menu, select Bluetooth > Se tup
> Name.
2Enter the name you want for your phone.
3Press O.
Setting Voice Dialing
Some Bluetooth de vices use voice di aling. When
you receive your phone, B luetooth voice dialing is
turned off.
To activate voice dialing for Blueto oth:
1From the main menu, select Bluetooth > Setup
> Voice Dial.
2Select the setting you want.

From the main menu, select Bluetooth. -or-
Note:If Blu et oo th po wer is set to Off on your
phone, you will be prompted to
temporarily turn power on in order to use
Bluetooth.
