Java Applications
Your phone arrives with Java applications loaded
and ready to install. You can download and inst all
more Java applications .
Note:U sing Java applicatio ns may cause your
phone to use up more battery power tha n
other uses of your phone.

Installing Applications

1From the main menu, sele ct Java Apps.
2Select the application or suite of applications
you want to install.
Installation messages appear as the application
installs.
3If you want to create a sho rtcut to the Java
application on the main menu: Press A under
Next. Press A under Yes. Press O.
4Press A under Done.

Running Applications

To run an application that has a shortcut on the
main menu:
1From the main menu, sele ct the application or
suite of applications you want to run.
2If you have select ed a suite of applic ations,
select the applicat ion you want to run .
To run an application tha t d oe s no t have a sho r tcut
on the main menu:
1From the main menu, sele ct Java Apps.
2Select the application or suite of applications
you want to run.
3If you have select ed a suite of applic ations,
select the applicat ion you want to run .
Tip:I f you do not hear th e sounds associate d
with the Java applicat ion, select Settings >
Volum e and check the volumes of Java
Speaker and Java Earpiece.

Suspending Applications

When you suspend an application, it does not stop
running. It goes to the ba ckground so that you can
run another applic ation in the foregro und.
To suspend an app lication:
Press e.
To view your susp ended applications :
From the Java menu, sele ct Suspended Apps.
You can have up to 3 applications running at one
time — 1 running in the foreground and 2 in the
background.
