MOSMS Messages
If your phone is powered off when you receive a
text message, your phone n otifies you the next
time you power it on. If you are out of your
coverage area, yo ur phone alerts yo u when you
return to your covera ge ar ea .
Tip:While reading a text and numeric message
that contains a ph one number, you can
press s to call that number.
Reading from the Message Center
1From the main menu, sele ct Messages > Text
Inbox.
2Select the message you want to read. -or-
Press the number of the message you want to
read.
3If the message fills more than one screen, scroll
to read it.
Tip:Sc rolling through on e message lets you
view the next m essage.
4To save the mes sage, press A under Ok. -or-
To reply to the message, press A under
Reply. -or-
To see all other choices, including forwarding
and deleting the message , calling the sender, or
storing the sender ’s number in Cont acts, press
m.
Creating and Sending Messages
1From the main menu, sele ct Messages >
[Create Message]. -or-
Select [Create Message] from Text Inbox, Text
Outbox, or Drafts. -or-
Highlight Quick Notes and press A under
Compose.
Tip:T his option is availa ble from many
context-sensitive menus in the message
center.
2To address the message:
Use the keypad to enter the phone number of
the person you want to send the message to.
-or-
Press A under Browse. Select Contacts,
Recent Calls, or Memo. Select the number you
want to enter.
When you are finished, press O.
3Enter the text of the message. -or-
