Using Your Phone as a Modem

Note:This feature may not be offered by your

service provider.

You can use your phon e as a mo dem w i th a l ap top ,

handheld device, or desktop computer. In order to

use your phone as a modem, you must create

either a wired or wireless connection between you r

phone and the other device. To connect your

phone wirelessly, you must have a Bluetooth

adapter for the other device. To create a wired

connection, use a data cable.

Connecting with a Data Cable

To use a data cable to connect your phone with a

laptop, handheld dev ic e, or de sk to p computer:

1Open the connector cover.

2With the phone’s display facing up, insert the

data cable’s conne ctor into the access ory
