Profiles
A profile is a group of settings saved together so
that you can apply them to your phone easily.
A profile contains thes e sett ings:
Ring Tones — sets all options described in
“Ring Tones” on page 54, ex cept assigning ring
tones to Contacts.
• Display/Info — sets Wallpaper, Color Palette,
Text S ize, and Backlight options. See
“Display/Info Feat ures” on page 120.
Phone Calls — sets Set Line and Auto Ans
options. See “Phone Calls Features” o n page
121.
• Volume — sets all opt ions described in “Volume
Features” on page 12 2.
Call Filter — controls wh ich calls, call alerts,
and message notifications your phone re sponds
to. See “Setting Call Filtering” on page 128.
• Advanced — sets hea dset option. See “U sing a
Headset” on page 132.
Your phone arrives with pre-set profiles. You ca n
also create your own profi les.

Viewing Profiles

To view the profi les stored in your phone:
1From the main menu, sele ct Profiles.
2Scroll to the profile you want to view.
Tip:T he profile that i s currently in effect on your
phone has a checkmark next to it.
3Press A under View.
4Scroll to view settings.

Switching Profiles

To apply a profile to your phone:
1From the main menu, sele ct Profiles.
2Scroll to the profile you want to apply.
3Press O.
The profile you s elected is now in ef fect.

How Changing Settings

Affects Profiles

Many of the setti ngs contained in pr ofiles can be
set without switching or editing profiles — for
example, by selecting Settings or Ring Tones to
set options, or by setti n g the vol um e of the pho ne ’s
ring using the volume co ntrols.
