Send via PTT lets you excha nge pictures, My Info
and contact information with other phones that
have this capability. You can also receive pictures.
You do this throug h Private calls.
Send via PTT cann ot be used during g roup calls.
Sending a Picture
Note:This feature may not be offered by your
service provider.
When you send a picture using Send via PTT, the
picture you sent appears on the display of the
phone you are engaged in the Pr i vate call wit h an d
is saved to that phone’s me dia center.
Sending a Picture During a Call
You can send a picture a t an y tim e d uri ng a P ri vat e
call, whether yo u made or received the call*.
* Additional charges may apply.
You cannot talk or listen on a Private call while a
picture is being transmi tted. Other activities, suc h
as searching for a picture, do not prevent you from
talking or listening .
Sending a Stored Picture
1While in a Private call: Pres s m. Select Browse
Pictures.
A list of pictures t hat ca n b e i nclu de d i n a Pr i vate
call appears.
2Select the picture you want to send.
3Press the PTT button to send the picture.
4Wait while the pictur e is transmitted. The P rivate
call is temporarily interrupted while a picture is
transmitted.
5When prompted, pres s the PTT button to
resume the Private call .
Starting a Call by Sending a Picture
You can start a Private call after you choose a
stored picture from the media center.
To do this, you must have the Private ID and IP
address of the person you want to send to stor ed in
your Contacts.
1From the media center, scroll to or se le ct the
picture you want to send in a Private call.
2Press m. Select Transfer.
3Select Send via PTT.
