Getting Started
To start using your i605 phone:
•Make sure your SIM card is in place.
•Charge the battery.
•Activate your service.
•Enable over-the-a ir security if you are p rompted
to.
Locating Your SIM Card
Your SIM (Subscr iber Identity Modu le) card is a
small piece of plastic located in the SIM card
holder in the bac k of your phone, unde rneath the
battery.
If your SIM card is not in the SIM card holder, it
may be in the box your ph one came in, attached to
a piece of plastic about the size of a credit card. If
this is the case, carefu lly detach your SIM card
from the surroun ding plastic and ins ert it as
described in “Inserti ng Your SIM Card” on page 14.
If there is no SIM card in your phone or the box,
contact your service provider.

Status
light Indicates the s tatus of your conn ection.
Solid green means your ph one is in use;
flashing green means yo ur ph on e i s rea dy
to use; solid red means no service;
flashing red means your phone is signing
on to the network.
