Contacts stores up to 600 numbers o r addresses.
Each Contacts entry can store several numbers or
addresses.
Information stored in Contacts is sav ed on your
SIM card.
A Contacts entry contains:
•A name — A name is required if you are storing
more than one num ber or address to t he entry;
otherwise, it is option al. Typically, this is the
name of the person whose contact information is
stored in the entr y.
•A ring tone — This is the sound your phone
makes when you re ceive phone calls o r call
alerts from any of t he numbers stored in the
entry. You can assign the ring tone fr om your list
of ring tones. If yo u do no t as si gn a rin g t o ne, th e
entry is created with a d efault ring tone
assigned.
•A picture — This picture appears on the display
when you receive phone calls from any of the
phone numbers store d in the en tr y. You can
assign the picture from th e pi ct ure s st ore d in the
media center. If you do not assign a picture, the
entry is created with no picture assigned.
•A Contacts type — Each number or address
stored must be assigned a Contacts type:
•A number or address — Each Contacts entry
must contain a number or address. This may be
any type of phone numb er, Private ID, Talkgroup
number, SDG list, email address, or IP address.
