Granting or Denyi ng Permission
If you choose By Permission, you must grant or
deny each Java ap plication access t o the location
of your phone when the app lication requests
access for the first time . You may be required to
grant or deny subsequent requests from the same
application, depending on the privacy sett ing you
choose for the individual Java application (se e
“Setting Privacy for Each Java Application”).
When a Java application requests access to the
location of your phone, a scree n a pp ear s in for mi ng
you.
To deny this request:
1Press A under Deny. The application does not
access the location of your phone.
2Select the denying option you want:
• Always — If the applicat ion requests access
to the location of your phone again, the
request is denied witho ut notifying you.
• For this session — If the application
requests access to the locatio n of your phone
again before you power off your phone, the
request is denied witho ut notifying you.
• Only Once — If the application requests
access to the location of your phone again,
you are prompted to grant or de ny
permission.

Setting Privacy for Each Java Application
After a given Java application requests access to
the location of your pho ne for the first time, you
have the opportunity to set th e GPS privacy option
for that Java appl ication.
