Setting the Volume

Of the Earpiece and Sp eaker
1From the main menu, select Settings > Volume.
2Scroll to Earpiece to set the earpiece volume.

Scroll to Speaker to set the spe a ker volume.
3To set the volum e:
Scroll left or right. -or-
Press the volume control s.
Of the Ringer
Press the volume controls .

Setting Your Phone to Vibrate

To set your phone to vibrate instead of making a
sound when you receive phone calls, Private calls,
group calls, SDG calls, call alert s, message
notifications, pi ct ur e s se nt usin g Send via PTT,
and Datebook reminders, see “ Se t ting Yo ur Ph on e
to Vibrate” on pa ge 54.
To set your phone to vibrate instead of making a
sound when you re ceive Private call s, group calls,
and SDG calls, even if you want your ph on e t o rin g
for other features:
1From the main menu, sele ct Settings > 2-Way
Radio > Alert Type.
Tip:If Alert Type does not ap pear: From the
main menu, select Ring Tones. Make sure
VibeAll is set to Off. Repeat step 1.
2Select Vibrate to set your phone to vibrat e.
Tip:Select Silent in step 2 to set your phone to
neither vibrate no r make a sound.

Themes

A theme lets you control the look of the display by
changing the color scheme, wallpaper , the look of
the main menu, and the loo k of the display options.
To change the the me of your phone:
1From the main menu, sele ct Settings >
Display/Info > Theme
2Select the theme you want.
