Nextel Voice Mail Service
To record or alter your greeting at any time follow the steps below:
1From the main Voice Mail menu, press 3to change your greeting.
2Press 1to play, 2 to record, or 3to delete your active greeting.
3Record your message and press #when you have finished.
4Press **to return to the main menu.
Receiving Voice Mail Messages
New Message Indicators
When you receive a new message, the following occurs:
•New Voice Mail Waiting will display on the screen once your phone is turned on (if your phone is off when the call is received).

•The v icon will flash at the top of the display.
•Press Punder “Exit” to listen later or press Punder “Dial” to listen now.
•Your i700plus phone will alert you every 30 seconds until you press “Exit” or “Dial”.
Transferring Calls to Voice Mail
Press Punder “End” while your phone is ringing to transfer incoming calls directly to Voice Mail (purchase required).
Alert Receipt
Through your programming menu ( *#15), you can delay Voice Mail and Message Mail alerts so that you are not interrupted by the alert tone while on a call. You can choose to receive all alerts, delay all alerts, or receive Message Mail alerts only.
