With Two-Way Messaging, you can:

Receive messages (up to 500 characters in length) with built-in replies and respond to them at the touch of a button.

Create and store your own frequently used responses that let you send informative answers without keying in text.

Send messages to one individual from your phone or contact several at once from any email system or nextel.com

Respond to messages when you’re in a meeting or noisy location.

To activate this service, call Nextel Customer Care at 1-800-639-6111 or dial 611 from your Nextel phone. For additional information on how to use this service, download the Nextel Online Wireless Internet Service User’s Guide from the nextel.com Web site.

Text and Numeric Paging

With Nextel Text and Numeric Paging, Nextel will:

Allow numeric pages up to 20 characters in length and text pages up to 140 characters in length.

Accept your pages even if you are unavailable, if your phone is turned off, or if you are busy on another call.

Alert you of a new text or numeric page, even if you are on another call.

Store a page if you are using Nextel Direct Connect and deliver it upon completion of the call.

Store the page if you are outside of the coverage area and deliver it as soon as you are back in a coverage area.

Attempt continuous delivery of pages until successful, for up to 7 days.
