Messaging

Message limitations

The following limitations apply to the Messaging feature:

With a MEM card installed, the system can store up to 80 messages.

Attention: The maximum number of messages you can store can be less than 80, depending on how much memory is used by other features.

You can send or receive messages if your handset is in range of a DECT system to which the handset is subscribed.

An error beep sounds if the message is undelivered.

If you receive a message while you are making changes in a menu, the phone exits from the menu, and any entries that you have not yet saved are lost. Similarly, if you receive a message while you are dialing, the phone number you are dialing is lost, and if you receive a message while you are writing a text message, the text of the message you are writing is lost.
