Configuring Alert volume

Use this function to change the alert volume.

To change the alert volume, perform the following steps:

1.Open the Sounds and alerts menu using the steps in “Accessing the Sounds and alerts menu” (page 167).

2.Press the Up or Down key to highlight the Alert volume option.

3.Press the Select soft key.

4.Press the Left or Right key to select the volume level.

5.Press the OK soft key to apply the changes.

6.Press the Clr key one or more times to return to the idle display.

Defining the Alert tone melody

To define a melody for alerts, perform the following steps:

1.Open the Sounds and alerts menu using the steps in “Accessing the Sounds and alerts menu” (page 167).

2.Press the Up or Down key to highlight the Alert tone option.
