import <protocol>
<server> <filename>
<key>
Imports a database from the specified
TFTP/FTP/SCP/SFTP file exchange server.
You are prompted to provide the following
information:
protocol is the import protocol. Options
are tftp|ftp|scp|sftp.
server is the host name or IP address of
the server.
filename is the name of the database file
on the server.
key is the password key for user password
protection. For a database file whose
passwords were protected with a key
when the file was exported, the key you
must provide is the same as the password
key provided at the time of export. If the
file is not protected with a key, enter any
characters (a minimum of four) when
prompted.
FTP user name and password, if
applicable.
The file you import must be in ASCII
format. Each row entry consists of
values for user name, password, and
group, separated by a colon (for example,
username:password:group)
Passwords in the imported database can be
clear-text or encrypted. Clear-text passwords
will be encrypted after import.
The imported database overwrites existing
entries in the local database.
