To generate a test certificate, perform the following steps:
Step Action
1Access the Certificate menu by using the /cfg/cert <cert
id> command, where <cert id> is an unused certificate
number.
2Generate the test certificate. Enter the following command:
/cfg/cert #/test
You are prompted to enter the following parameters. The
combined length of the parameters cannot exceed 225 bytes
•country name (2-letter code)
•state or province name
•locality name
•organization name
•organizational unit name
•common name
•e-mail address
•subject alternative name
•validity period—the default is 365 days
•key size—the default is 1024 bits

3Apply the changes.
