F1

TIMING°1

Sets the timing at which to record the fields at the edit IN point

field. However, the F1 setting is forcibly established when

 

 

 

manual editing is performed using this unit alone.

 

 

 

Bear in mind that if mutually different settings have been

 

 

 

selected, the setting selected last takes precedence.

 

 

The timing can also be set using the F1 (TIMING) key of the

 

 

MANUAL SET UP menu.

V PREV

Selects the video signals for preview duration (between IN and

 

Video preview.

PLR SYNC

Any time from 0 to 30 seconds can be selected. (Initial setting is 5 seconds.)

F6

POSTROLL

Sets the postroll time in 1-second increments.

 

For setting the postroll time.

Any time from 0 to 30 seconds can be selected. (Initial setting is 2 seconds.)

 

 

 

F7

REACTION

Compensates the reaction time after the ENTRY button is pressed

 

For compensating the time

When an edit point has been set by the ENTRY button, the

value obtained after subtracting the reaction time from the moment when the button was pressed becomes the edit point.

Operation

1. Press the F7 (REACTION) key.

2. Adjust with the ADJUST control.

3. Press the F7 key.

°1This item cannot be displayed when the 1080/23p, 1080/24p, 1080/25p or 720/59p format has been selected. (It is forcibly set to F1.)
