Basic Operation

Switching the Phone On/Off

Toswitch the phone on or off.

Pressand hold Eto switch power on

Agreeting will be displayed and then the phone will

gointo Idle mode.

Pressand hold Eto switch power off

Making a Call

Ensurethat the phone is switched on, the network operator logo is

displayedand the signal strength meter shows network coverage is

availablein the current area.

International Dialling

Usingthe automatic international access code (+) you will be able to

dialinternational numbers without having to know the code for the

internationalexchange.

Ifthe international number is known then it can be entered in the

normalfashion followed by the area code and phone number.

2Useeto cycle through the abbreviated

internationalnames and press Qto select the

requiredcode

Note:Many countries include an initial “0” in the area code. This

should,in most cases, be omitted when dialling international

numbers.If you have difficulties making international calls, contact
