Youcan choose not to enter a location number and the entry will be

placedin the next available location. Simply press Qwhen Any is

displayed.

Overwrite Protection

Ifa location is occupied you will be prompted to confirm that you wish

tooverwrite the current information.

PressQto overwrite the selected location

PressBto choose another location number

Note:If you amend an entry stored in your phonebook that has a

VoiceDial Command assigned to it, you will need to delete and

reassignthat Voice Dial Command - see “Editing the Voice Dial

Entries”page 23.

Browsing Phonebook

Youcan search the Phonebook by either Name or Location. The

defaultsetting for browsing is by name. When browsing by name

pressinga lettered key will take you to the first entry starting with that

letter.

1FromIdle mode press Q, select Phonebook > Browse and

pressQ

2Useeto toggle between Names or Location Numbers

displaymode and press Q

3Useeto select the Phonebook you wish to browse and press

Q

Retrieve a Number

FromIdle mode:

2Useeto browse through the Phonebook

Onceyou have selected a phone number or name, there are a

numberof actions that you can perform. To dial the selected number

pressD.

Note:The Phonebook you last viewed will be the default when you

nextpress A. To change the default, use the Phonebook menu to

selecta particular phonebook.
