Read Messages

FromIdle mode press Q, select Messages > E-mail > Inbox

andpress Q

Theheader fields of the most recent messages will be displayed.

Useeto scroll through previous message headers and press Q.

Useeto select View and press Qto read the current message,

usingeto scroll through the message.

Message Status

Amessage can be in one of four states. The current state of each

messageis indicated by an appropriate icon:

^Indicatesa message which has been read or sent.

$Indicatesan unread or unsent message

%Indicatesthat the message has been locked

&Indicatesa broken message (either a message too long for

thephone or a message which contains an attachment)

Whilereading a message any of the following operations may be

performedby pressing Q, using euntil the relevant operation is

displayedand pressing Q:

Reply

Composea reply to the sender of the current message

Forward

Sendthe current message to a different person other than the

sender

Delete

Removethe current message from the list

Lock

Applya lock to the message so that it cannot be overwritten when

receiving/ creating further messages. A locked message can still be

deletedmanually

Recall

Toselect the mobile phone number of the e-mail sender, to enable

youmake a voice call or review the number.
