Adding Special Effects (Edit - Fade)

You can add fading to the beginning and/or end of scene.

There are three types of special effects:

Fade Out Fade Out Fade Out

Black:	Wipe:	B/W:
Fades in from black screen	Fades in from black screen to	Fades in from Black and White
Fades out to black screen	vertical direction of screen	screen to colour screen
	Fades out from vertical	Fades out from colour screen
	direction of screen to black	to Black and White screen
	screen

1 Press the DISC NAVIGATION button.

2 Select the scene for adding special effects.

3 Press the MENU button.

4 Choose, “Scene”, “Edit”,
“Fade” and then press the	Sc e n e

	Ed i t	Thumb n a i l
5 The “Fade” screen will	Copy	S k i p
	Se l e c t	F ade
	De t a i l	Comb i ne
	ETC	D i v i d e
appear: If you are sure	ENTER RETURN		RAM
you want to add the fade

effect to the scene, press the Abutton.

7 Press the Cbutton to quit.

The “[” and/or “]” mark(s) will appear in the scenes for which special effects have been set.

If you want to change the scene to which fade is added, you can change it on this screen.

6 Select the special effects
for “IN” and/or “OUT”,	Fa d e
	I N
choose “Enter”, and then	None	B l a c k		Wi pe	B/W
	OUT
press the Abutton.
	None	B l a ck		Wi pe	B/W
			En t er		Canc e l
To cancel setting, choose	ENTER

“Cancel”.

After setting, the “Fade” screen will be restored. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to add fade to other scenes.
