Active List (Active Interfaces List)

Displays a list of the current status of all of the active interfaces in the card.

if – Number of the interface.

name – Name of the interface.

type – Interface type (static).

link – Name of the protocol on the interface.

state – Current state of the interface.

ll-state– Not applicable.

port – Port linked to this interface.

The only information that changes on this screen is the state (active or port-wait) column.

Status (Interface Status)

Displays a list of additional information, after a specific interface (port) has been selected, such as interface name, interface protocol, interface port, user name, interface type, number of restarts and link-downs, interface state, and the interface timeout inactivity.

Ifname – Enter the name of the desired interface (e1a, s1b).

protocol – Type of protocol for the entered interface name.

port – Port linked to this interface.

restarts – Number of times interface has been restarted.

user – None.

type – Static.

link-downs– Number of times the link has gone down.

state – Active or prtwait.

inactivity T/O – Number of times the interface has timed out.
