The password protection feature prevents formats, graphics or
fonts from accidentally being deleted from the printer’s memory.
E n a b l i n g t h e P a s s w o r d ( S y s t e m A d m i n i s t r a t o r s o n l y )
A System Administrator can enable the password that must be entered before formats, graphics or fonts can be deleted.
1.From the Main Menu, press L or R until you see
MAIN MENU
lDiagnostics
2.Press E. You will see
Enter Password

3.Type your password: P P P E.
If you enter the wrong password, you return to the Main Menu.
4.From the Diagnostics Menu, press L or R until you see
DIAGNOSTICS

5.Press E. Then, press L or R until you see
USER DIAG
