Changing the Sound Settings

You can adjust the playback volume and the volume of operation sounds, such as the start-up sound, shutter sound and key operation sound. You can also change the type of sound.

Changing the Playback Volume and Operation Volume

1	Select [Sound] on the [B Set-up] menu.
2	Press the four-way controller (5).	Sound
3	The Sound screen appears.
		Playback Volume
	Use the four-way controller (23)	Start - up Sound		1
	to select [Playback Volume] or	Operation Vol .	1
		Shutter Sound
4	[Operation Vol.].	Operation Sound	1
	Use the four-way controller (45)	Focus Sound	1
		MENU Exit	OK OK
5	to adjust the volume.
	Press the OK button twice.

The camera is ready to take or play back images.

Changing the Sound Type

3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Start-up Sound]. 4 Use the four-way controller (45) to select [Off], [1], [2] or [3].

Set the [Shutter Sound], [Operation Sound], [Focus Sound] and [Self- timer Sound] in the same way.

5 Press the OK button twice.

The camera is ready to take or play back images.

The Sound settings are saved when the camera is turned off.
