5Schuif de antenne uit en draai deze naar boven voor een goede ontvangst.

6Draai de volumeknop van de ouderunit naar een volumestand om de ouderunit in te schakelen. (fig. 16)

,Het SYSTEM CHECK-lampje begint groen te branden zodra er verbinding is tussen de twee units.

Opmerking:Het duurt ongeveer 30 seconden voordat de verbinding tot stand is gebracht.

7Zorg dat de babyunit ten minste 1 meter van uw baby verwijderd is. (fig. 17)

8Plaats de ouderunit binnen het bereik van de babyunit. Zorg dat de babyunit ten minste 1

meter van de ouderunit verwijderd is. (fig. 18)

Bereik

Het bereik van de babyfoon is 200 meter in de open lucht. Dit bereik kan, afhankelijk van de omgeving en andere storingsfactoren, kleiner zijn. Binnenshuis is het bereik maximaal 50 meter.

Kanaalselectie

Zorg dat de CHANNEL-schuifknoppen van beide units op dezelfde stand staan. U kunt vier verschillende kanalen selecteren. Ondervindt u storing van andere babyfoons, radioapparatuur enz., kies dan een ander kanaal.

Gevoeligheid microfoon

Met behulp van de SENSITIVITY-schuifknop voor de microfoon op de babyunit kunt u het gewenste niveau instellen voor het geluid dat door de microfoon moet worden opgemerkt: laag, middel of hoog. Als de microfoongevoeligheid op ‘hoog’ staat, worden alle geluiden door de babyunit opgemerkt. U kunt de microfoongevoeligheid alleen veranderen als er verbinding is tussen de babyunit en de ouderunit. Dit is het geval als het SYSTEM CHECK-lampje op de ouderunit continu groen brandt.
