6.1.3 Callback Acknowledgment
Callback Acknowledgement is a feature that allows you to
acknowledge an alarm without entering Touch-Tones. This
feature is disabled by default and must be enabled by entering the
key sequence below. When Callback Acknowledgment is enabled,
simply call the unit back and allow the line to ring 10 times. The
unit will then answer the call, give a Status Report, then say
“Warning message received by telephone number ... and recite
the telephone number last dialed. This indicates that the alarm has
been acknowledged.
To enable or disable Callback Acknowledgement:
1. Press SENSOR ON/OFF.
2. Press PHONE NUMBER.
The model 1108 will say “On”to indicate that Callback
Acknowledgment is Enabled, or“Off” to indicate that Callback
Acknowledgement is Disabled. This method of remote alarm
acknowledgment works with any telephone: pulse, rotary, or
Touch-Tone.
