Showsthe signal strength of cellular phone.
!Thelevel shown on the indicator may
differfrom the actual signal level.

Showsthe registration number of the cellular
phone.
4Batterystrength indicator
Showsthe battery strength of cellular phone.
!Thelevel shown on the indicator may
differfrom the actual batterystrength.
!Ifthe battery strength is not available,
nothingis displayed in the battery
strengthindicator area.
5Incomingcall notice indication
Showswhen an incoming call has been re-
ceivedand not checked yet.
!Incomingcall notice is not displayed for
callsmade when your cellular phone is
disconnectedfrom this unit.
6Automaticanswering/Automatic rejecting in-
dicator
ShowsAUTO when the automatic answering
functionis on (for more details, refer to Setting

!Advancedoperations that require your atten-
tionsuch as dialing numbers on the monitor,
usingphone book, etc., are prohibited while
youare driving. When you need to use these
advancedoperations, stop your vehicle in a
safeplace.

!Theequalizer curve for the phone source is
fixed.
!Whenselecting the phone source, you can
onlyoperate Fader (balance adjustment) in
theaudio menu.

Setting up for hands-free phoning

Beforeyou can use the hands-free phoning
functionyou must set up the unit for use with
yourcellular phone. This entails establishing a
Bluetoothwireless connection between this
unitand your phone, registering your phone
withthis unit, and adjusting the volume level.
