!Thisunit assigns folder numbers. The user
cannotassign folder numbers.
!Folderselection sequence or other opera-
tionmay be altered depending on the en-
codingor writing software.
!Forpractical use, the folder hierarchy
shouldhave as few tiers as possible.
!Upto 999 files on a disc can be played
back.
!Upto 99 folders on a disc can be played
back.

The sequence of audio files on

ForUSB portable audio players, the sequence is
differentand depends on the player.
!01to 05 represent assigned folder num-
bers.1to 6represent the playback se-
quence.The user cannot assign folder
numbersand specify the playback se-
quencewith this unit.
!Playbacksequence is the same as re-
cordedsequence in the USB storage de-
vice.
!Tospecify the playback sequence, the fol-
lowingmethod is recommended.
1 Create the file name including numbers
thatspecify the playback sequence (e.g.,
001xxx.mp3and 099yyy.mp3).
2 Put those files into a folder.
3 Record the folder containing files into the
USBstorage device.
However,depending on the system environ-
ment,you cannot specify the playback se-
quence.
!Upto 15000files in aUSB storage device
canbe played back.
!Upto 500 folders in a USB storage device
canbe played back.
!Upto eight tiers directory in a USB storage
devicecan be played back.
