Connecting HDMI equipment Note

The INPUT 4 video signal is not output from the MONITOR OUT jack regardless of this setting.

Using the HDMI Inputs

The INPUT 3 and INPUT 4 terminals include HDMI terminals to which digital video and audio signals can be input. To use the HDMI terminals, activate the terminal and specify the types of video and audio signals to be received from the connected equipment. For the types of these signals, see the operation manual that came with the connected equipment.

Before starting the menu, press INPUT 3 or INPUT 4 on the remote control unit or press INPUT on the plasma display to select INPUT 3 or INPUT 4.

Manual background Note

PC signals are not compatible with the HDMI terminal.

It may take a short while until the image is displayed, depending on the equipment connected.

Connecting HDMI equipment

There are two HDMI inputs, labeled INPUT 3 and INPUT 4.

For INPUT 3, connect an HDMI cable for the video and (if necessary) a stereo audio cable for analog audio. You can select the audio and video format according to the device you’ve connected – see below for more.
