External Power

•Tap on the dropdown menu, and choose the number of seconds or minutes the backlight will remain on when the hand-held is idle.

•To Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped, tap in the checkbox to the left of this option.

6.13.2 External Power

This tab determines the behaviour of the backlight when the hand-held is using external rather than battery power. Refer to “Battery Power” on page 122 for details about these options.

6.13.3 Intensity

This tab is used to adjust the light intensity of the display backlight and the keyboard backlight. Sliding the bar to the left lowers the light intensity, and sliding it to the right raises the intensity.
