2.1Chapter overview

This chapter gives basic information on system func- tions, speciﬁcations and documentation.

2.2Generalities

The indications in the present Instructions Manual, in particular the safety instructions must be com- plied with.

2.3Compliance

The Quantum Cascade Laser Starter Kit has been designed to meet all current safety at work and op- erating requirements.

2.3.1Laser compliance

The system described in this manual contains a laser device. Depending of the emission power of the laser used in the Starter Kit, the classiﬁcation may change.

According to the emission power, the laser prod- uct meets the following requirements:
