6 Close the cover firmly and pull the copy tray forward.

4 Unpack the new photoconductor and put it into the machine.
The left and right ends are marked "L" and "R" respectively.
5 Reinstall the toner cassette.
Caution: Do not expose the new drum to light for an extended periodmof time. Do not touch the surface of the drum.
After you replace the photoconductor, reset the counter for photoconductor inside the achine. If you have replaced the photoconductor before RELACE OPC appears, see page 37 for how to reset the OPC counter (Function 94).
