3. Press Menu > Tools > Mass Storage > Connect to PC.
Once a successful connection is established
between the two devices, your phone will appear
on your computer under My Computer as Mobile
Device.
Using your computer to create folders:
1. Connect your computer to your phone. (See
“Connect to PC” on page 108.).
2. With the phone’s main folder displayed, select File
> New Folder.
3. Rename the folder and begin the process of
copying your files either into the root directory or
the newly created folders.
File Manager
This option allows you to use the navigation key to
browse through the phone’s folder and file structure.
The same directory structure can be viewed from your
computer when the Connect to PC option is enabled.
To view the phone's file structure:
1. Press Menu > Tools > Mass Storage > File Manager.
(This reveals the hierarchy of files and folders
currently found on the phone.)
2. Use the navigation key to select a folder or file and
then activate it by pressing .
䡲Highlight a folder and press to open it and
reveal any subfolders or files.
䡲To go back up a level from your current folder
location, highlight the blue arrow (shown circled
in the screen below) and press .
Note Please note the remaining storage size when storing
files to your phone.
Note Do not rename or alter the properties of the default
100SSMED folder as this is the default storage
location for your pictures.
